Making your appointment

Before scheduling your appointment, you will need to decide what session you are interested in. Our photo sessions typically start at 10:00 a.m., Monday thru Friday unless an earlier time is requested. Evening appointments are also available. Once you schedule your session, we will need to receive the session fee to confirm your appointment. We accept cash, personal checks, money orders and credit cards.

How Does This Whole Procedure Work?

Once you have been photographed, you will be scheduled for a return visit to view your previews. Print enhancements such as Black and White, Sepia tone and Vignettes will be included with your previews. We will assist you in selecting poses, framing and packages. When placing your order, a 50% deposit is required. Your order will take between 6 and 8 weeks to be completed. You will be notified when your order is ready. When picking up your completed order, your remaining balance will be due. The studio is not responsible for orders that are not picked up within 30 days.

Traditional Yearbook Session- $35.00 (30 min)

This is an ” indoors only” studio session with one outfit and one background. This session concentrates mainly on head and shoulder poses.

Extended Indoor Session - $45.00 (45 min)

This is an ” indoors only” studio session with a second clothing and background change and more variety of poses.

Deluxe Indoor Session - $70.00 (60 to 90 min)

This session includes three or four different outfits with a combination of traditional and contemporary posing, lighting and backgrounds. For a variety of different looks, choose clothing in light and dark colors and mix it up with sporty, formal and casual styles.

Custom Indoor/Outdoor Session - $95.00 (2 Hours)

Our most popular session includes indoor and outdoor poses. You are welcome to bring four or five different outfits. Just arrive in the outfit you will be photographed in outdoors. This is the session to include a car or pet in your photo, or personalize your session with your musical instrument, or sports equipment and uniform.

Elite Indoor/Outdoor Session - $120.00

(2 Hours Plus)

We begin your session outdoors and then continue to the studio. Up to 6 clothing changes are allowed along with matching background changes. Black & White images will be taken on a white background using a high fashion glamour lighting technique.

Regardless of what session you select we will work to capture your personality and create a very special portrait that will long be remembered.

Any session you may bring your favorite music to listen to during the session. Parents are always welcome to come along.

GETTING READY

Arrive on time, with most of your makeup done and hair styled so all you need to do is touch it up. A blemish should not be reason enough to cancel an appointment. Foundation and powder together work miracles on covering blemishes, boys included. Powder is a must for an oily complexion. Ladies, bring the makeup you feel you will need for touch ups. We can provide your makeup application, please request this in advance and we will allow additional time before your scheduled session. An additional fee will apply for this service.

What should I wear?

As a general rule, solid colors are always best. Solids create a classic and timeless look that will endure through the years. Patterns draw attention to clothing rather than faces. Dark earthly tones such as dark green, navy blue, charcoal, dark brown or black photograph much better than bright or light colors. Sleeveless is not recommended for anyone. A suit or sport coat is suggested for men with a shirt and tie that complements the suit. Often shoes will show in full length poses so they should compliment your clothing and changes may be necessary. Many prefer the barefoot poses too. We have a room where we use window light and everything goes in here from casual to formal including shorts, khakis, jeans, leather jackets and hats.
Also, remember to wear your High School Class Ring.

Professional Suggestions:

· Too much sun darkens your skin unnaturally. Strap marks will show as white marks on bare shoulder poses. These corrections require corrective artwork at an additional expense. Sunburn is a real problem – reschedule your appointment if burned.

· Be sure your hair is styled the way you normally wear and like it.

· A fresh shave is a must for guys. If you have a mustache or beard, make sure it's neatly trimmed.

· If you wear glasses most of the time, you'll want to wear them in your portraits. To eliminate glare or reflections, call your optician and arrange to borrow a pair of empty frames like yours, or have the lenses removed from your glasses.

All portraits taken at Hussar Photography are subject to copyright laws. It is against the law to duplicate any of your previews, pictures or wallets (paper or electronic).

Retouching

All finished portrait packages include basic retouching on minor complexion blemishes. Enhanced Retouching includes corrections on hair, clothing, glass glare, braces removal, tan lines or severe complexion problems.

Directions to Studio from Peebles & Mcknight Road

1. Follow Peebles across McKnight Road and stay straight to go onto Three Degree Road.

2. Turn Left onto US-19/Perry Hwy.

3. Turn Right onto Highland Ave.

4. Turn Left onto Gass Road.

5. Follow Gass (which becomes Union Ave) passing Northgate H.S. on left, through residential area until you get to Red Light.

6. Turn Left at Light onto North Starr Ave.

7. Turn Left onto Lincoln Ave.

8. Go two blocks, turn left into parking lot next to West View Savings Bank. Hussar Photography Studio is above the bank, 570 Lincoln Ave.
